Dates for Much ado about nothingDirections Theatre Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that their 18th production in the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in February 2016 is Shakespeare Comedy Much Ado About Nothing.

The Gardens is the perfect setting for this romantic comedy that contains moments of side splitting hilarity, of astounding poetry, of music and of staggering theatrical intensity.

Two sets of lovers share the focus in this romantic comedy. Claudio and Hero, who despite numerous obstacles are eventually brought together, and Benedick and Beatrice who enjoy bickering with one another and declaring their immunity to love’s charms until an elaborate ruse succeeds in drawing out their true feelings.

This show is suitable for all who love the poetry and prose of Shakespeare and anyone who has ever fallen in love.
