We cannot LIVE on flowers alone:

Please we really need your support

The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens relies on the support of the community to continue its vital work. The Gardens must generate a significant portion of our own funding through business operations, donations, fundraising and bequests. Without your support, the vital work of the Gardens would not be possible.

Many thanks to all of our supporters. We are proud to show off their wonderful support.

Visit and enjoy the Gardens as often as possible

The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens are here to be enjoyed by everyone, so make sure that you and your friends and family visit and make use of the Gardens whenever you are able to.

Entry to the Gardens is free, but you will find donation boxes at the entrances and at other key locations.

  • Entrance gates
  • Conservatory

Your contribution will directly support the Gardens and the important work being done here.

Become a Gardens donor

Donations to the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens of $2.00 and over are tax deductible – contact our office on 03 6166 0451 to arrange for a receipt. Substantial bequests may be devoted to particular projects or purposes, subject to discussion with the Director and the Board of Trustees.
